information system was up and running without fail on the days leading up to, the
day of and days following Hurricane Ernesto. Although spared any substantial damage,
many Floridians logged on to www.miamipost.org for the
latest, news, weather tracking and emergency services and all hurricane pertinent
information.
Instituted as a community awareness program, the hurricane warning and information
system of www.miamipost.org can be updated immediately
by not only news and emergency organizations and officials, but site members as
well. "It gives us great confidence in our portal's dynamic design and ability to
cultivate news and information on the fly," stated Limestone Communication's IT
President Alexis Prisendorf. "We will activate the system in future storms or any
